Gordon Roy Parker v. Google Inc

In a ruling issued March the 10th, 2006, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed a lawsuit by Gordon Roy Parker, a publisher of seduction guides. Parker claimed Google infringed his copyright when it cached a portion of his e-book entitled “29 Reasons Not To Be A Nice Guy" and indexed it. Judge R. Barclay Surrick dismissed the lawsuit, saying that caching doesn`t constitute direct infringement of copyright.
