Three ways to fight back against phishing

Most of cybercrimes are punishable only when they actually succeeded. Therefore, phishing, - i.e. attempt by a third party to solicit personal and/or confidential information from someone else - isn`t yet illegal. Although, phishing leads to substantial damages since it hearts consumer confidence in online transactions and as a consequence, threatens the future of e-commerce in particular and of overall economic growth in general. According to this article, phishing can be fought through legislation, technology and education.
